not to be negative here sean, but i feel like a lot of her work subscribes to the, well if it doesn't work just make it bigger and maybe no one will notice... the dishwasher It Never Occurred to Me It Wasn't The Beginning, seems like her most successful work, but does it really need to be six feet tall? maybe (haven't seen it in person so who the hell am i to say anything) and though the b/w portraits look fine, the color works (via joan wick) seem to fall apart (w above exception) just as small jpegs, i can't imagine that in person they would do anything but crumble... if she continues to hone her chops, definitely one to watch...

so what did you think of this work?
Totally boring. Is this a good representation of the Houston art scene?
Are you fishing for negativity? can't you get up the balls to do it yourself?
I've got nothing against her portraits, this body of work is nice and subdued vs. the earlier self-portraits.
Is this a good representation of Houston? Isn't there a thousand other pictures you can look at here on this blog? You tell me.
