YouthArt MultiFest 2008 Festival is dedicated to the theme Art Without Borders and encourages new media like performance and video art. The festival is dedicated to emerging artists up to 35 years old. Festival will cover accommodations, breakfast and lunch for performance artists, and also covers the production of artwork. However, the festival will not cover trip costs. There is no entry fee for participation in the festival. Artists which are applying with video work should send an entry form with video work on DVD, PAL only. All questions concerning the festival should be sent to the same e-mail address. YouthArt Multifest wants to present art-media crossover and to make a connection between young artists from all around the world without concern for nationality and race, only artistic expression is important. The most important part of the festival is the international character, where domestic audiences will be introduced to contemporary multimedia art, especially performance art. Festival wants to make connections between young people so that they may learn from each other’s experiences and make lasting relationships through collaboration. One of the characteristics of the festival is educational, especially to young people, so that wider audience may be introduced with contemporary art praxis.
Bringing artists from Europe and other countries from around world to Pancevo is our main goal, a contribution to the artworld to show that art doesn’t have borders.
