horrible and offensive.

Thank god the arts are finally getting some hot chicks to do performances. The ugly hairy ones you typically see doing shit like this are SO gross.

"hot chicks?"

ok, well i don't think it would be as offensive without the 'hot chicks' comment- that puts the whole thing in a bad light. i'm not gonna bash the anonymous guy for saying some meathead shit, that's his right.

fuck me for posting it? what about posting other performance art? if it was more academic you could get away with a lot of gore and sex, but as a pop thing it is summarily dismissed by left and right.

i posted the body art pics for the photos, which are interesting, they can be misogynist if you want them to be but this is vonetta and her friends, girls painting things on girls, models who don't do it for cash. post-feminist? maybe. a little silly? yes. horrible and offensive? how? from the perspective of the puritanically conservative or politically correct liberal?

where did the "white boys" thing come from?

Ok first off, we are all artists, the bodyartists I mean. and BS is correct, we do not paint for the big bucks, which means are not really commercial. As artists, we attempt to bring into consciousness that the human form should be appreciated. I personally can appreciate the form easier sans clothing, that is male or female, but my models really understand that our purpose is not exploitative. Now how the view takes it, we are trying to move forward to undo some of the erroneous thought processes, but hairy, and fat or curvy and fine, we are all beautiful!
