Bloom

The last three are computerized music programs that play songs/sounds based on the repeating images of skulls, ballerinas and AK47s, surprisingly interesting music too. In the gallery they are looped on a flat-screen, but it'd be cool if they would pop up on youtube for mass distribution!
Thanks Adrian!

Hey Sean,
For what's it worth, I really appreciate all the effort you're putting into this blog. I usually hit the site several times a day to see what's going on around town (or at least what's piqued your interest). It's come a long way since its launch.
And i was happy to see the Hill/MANUAL/Bloom exhibition get some love. Bloom's use of imagery in the timeline to construct audio compositions was particularly interesting.
Thanks, Brian! Sue Bloom's songs/ images were great, pulling from Schoenberg's visual/atonal compositions of the turn of the century and taking full advantage of technology (where she always shines) Look for a review of the show in next month's Artshouston.
Terrible work - reminiscent of an adolescent girl's bedroom wall. As far detached from a process of artistry as possible - mechanistic/inhuman and cognitively feeble. But, in vogue.
And indeed, thanks.
haha... that's cool, man!
