Last Show at CSAW?

With wild and somewhat true rumors flying, the fate of CSAW lies in the hands of its residents. If anyone knows Maggi Battalino personally, I would recommend asking her what she plans on doing. For now it is in the courts, and the collective identity of the artists there hangs in the balance. From 1988, when Wesley Hicks asked Mark Flood to gather artists for a show in the cavernous space to Ten X Ten, December's exhibit, that may be all she wrote.

I AM MAT.

Mat Wolff's project at CSAW last Saturday included I AM MAT. tees and a video setup of live feeds and taped sessions of Mat sitting there as the show was installed in Cory Wagner's studio. Wolff has recently changed his shirts in a never-ending loop in a video piece at the Blaffer Student Show and given away all of his tee shirts in another project.

I hereby announce an open call for entries for a photo-process based show at ArtStorm for the month of May. Photo-based can mean silkscreen, collage, polaroids or just straight up photography (divine art that it is). Gallery 1724 Is Back From the Dead

Traci Matlock and Ashley Maclean's show had a lot of small Polaroids and
some big prints- it was great to see them in this stripped house/gallery/hair salon
where the environment complemented their intimate work
