We Bleed Oil and We Pay For It

At 20% of the average Houstonian's budget, transportation costs are ballooning in Southeast Texas. As the rail down Richmond looks more and more like a mirage every day (have you heard about the rubber road plan?!?) there is nothing else in the pipe to ease congestion in the city. Even Dallas is building commuter rail lines, while the METRO corporation gorges itself on inefficient city funding. Read the Forbes article here.

Obtuse Crack heads in the Montrose Area

Just letting people know do not be afraid of the crack heads around Montrose. This morning my car was broken into because I left my door open (smart). Luckily the person who got in my car only stole my copied cd’s. My coin change, clothes, shoes, radio, jewelry remained in the car, and even the cd book was of no interest to the crack head.
